Joyce Cook

Hi, my name is Joyce, and this is my 28th year of teaching at Wausa Public Schools. For 6 years now I have been teaching Math 8, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Advanced Math. I graduated from Coleridge High School and Wayne State College.

I live in Coleridge with my husband, Lyle, who drives truck for Circle E Grain. We have 3 grown sons who all live in Coleridge, and 2 granddaughters.

I have a twin sister, Jennie, who just retired after teaching at Plainview Public School for 36 years, and a brother, Ron, who is retired after teaching and coaching 40 years in Nebraska and Iowa.

My favorite things to do when I'm not busy with school are: crocheting, reading and spending time with my granddaughters. I also volunteer to do church services for area churches (mostly United Church of Christ) when they need someone to fill in for their pastor.
