Ann Pfeil
Welcome to the English Department of Wausa Junior and Senior High School. I teach English 7-12 and speech class here at WHS. My extra duties include junior class sponsor and co-speech coach for competitive speech.
I attended grades 1-8 at District 109 in Cedar County. I graduated from Wausa Public School and later from Wayne State College with a major in English and a minor in Physical Education. I taught in Neligh, Bloomfield, and Verdigre before joining the Wausa team in 1992.
My husband Bruce and I have three children. Chris and his wife Kary live in Pierce, Todd lives in West Point, and Katie lives in Wausa. We have one grandchild Aiden and another is due in December of 2006.
My hobbies include reading, walking, counted cross-stitching, country swing dancing, and gardening. I also help at church by doing the sermon when our pastor is gone.
